Brad Kuhlman is on the show this week, having rolled through town back in February to premiere his documentary Where Have You Gone Lou DiMaggio. This doc follows the former stand-up comedian as he decides to rejoin the comedy circuit he decided to leave over twenty years ago and the struggles he faces as he takes the mic one more time. It features appearances from Larry David, Jeff Garlin, Colin Quinn, Richard Belzer, Suzie Essman, and more.
It premiered last month at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, and I was able to get Brad to sit down and talk with me about the film, his relationship with Lou, and then we delve into his crazy career that led him here. I don’t want to spoil it, but he’s responsible for some very, very popular TV shows, so keep listening.
You can find out more about the film at wherehaveyougone.com
