Sol Hill, photographer and painter and artist!
Sol Hill is on the show today. Since he left Brooks Institute of Photography he’s been exploring the limits of digital noise and energy in his large canvases, creating intriguing work that keeps meaning just a little bit out of reach.
I first saw his work at MichaelKate a few years ago and since then I’ve been wanting to interview him. And now he has this amazing space in the FunkZone, literally next door to Marlyn Dagget, who was also on the show, I was able to stop by for a visit.
We got into this deep pretty quickly, and had so little time, you’ll hear me ask for a second interview, and we hope to have that coming soon.
For now you can find him on the web at solhill.com and on Twitter at solhill.
